This qualification is the progression from the Award in Education and Training and covers a variety of teaching approaches, classroom management, assessment and inclusive teaching methods. As a trainee teacher, take your qualifications to the next level with our level 4 teacher training courses in Essex.

You will be required to demonstrate a good level of Maths and English in the form of functional skills assessments in addition to formulating a plan to further improve on your current level.

All courses are blended learning, part-time. Meaning you will be required to undertake home study via online learning and distance support at the same time as classroom based learning. However, your classroom based learning and assessments can also be done via the Zoom app or other form of video conferencing and video recorded assessment submissions. Meaning our teacher training courses in Essex can be fully online and can also cover the whole of the UK.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

**You will need to complete the Award in Education (AET) and Training first before being able to enrol onto this qualification. Should you need to study both the level 3 AET and this course, please be sure to purchase and enrol onto both courses.

This course is a level 4  qualification for teachers looking to work in further education. With the Certificate in Education and Training (formerly known as CTLLS), you will be qualified to leve 4 as a teacher of further education, able to independently plan, deliver and assess on qualifications delivered (accredited and non-ccredited). For vocational qualifications it is strongly recommended that you alslo undertake the level 3 assessors award to enable you to continue to assess on certain formative and summative assessments.

This qualification establishes you as a competent teacher in further education (FE). However it is recommended you finalise your studies towards the level 5 diploma, coming soon to UKFI and TVA.
