Assessor Award
This course is designed for individuals who have either completed their training as tutors in further education or are interested in assessing vocational qualifications. The course provides training on how to assess the competence of fitness learners during their practical assessments, as well as how to visit learners onsite and evaluate their competence across a variety of qualifications and sectors. Upon completion of this assessor award course, you will be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to start your career as an assessor in the education sector. You will be required to assess at least two vocational learners, keeping a record of your ongoing assessment activities and support. You will also need to prepare a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates your assessment practice, including direct observation of your assessing.
